What is a Metal Frame Ceiling?
Metal frame ceilings or most commonly known as MF are architectural ceiling elements made from metal plates to which plasterboard can be pressed into. MF ceilings are quick to install since they are made from aluminum, steel or galvanized iron.
Additionally, metal ceilings are resistant to moisture. They won’t stain or crumble when wet, and the tiles won’t deform even in humid environments. Metal ceilings frequently perform better in terms of acoustics than other popular ceiling materials. They are the perfect alternative to wood frames since they are also very easy to maintain.
